Description: The present invention relates to a grill.

When grilling fish, however, there are special requirements. Fish quickly stick to the grill grate and can then be lifted very badly, be it for turning or serving. Fish easily crumbles while cooking. For this reason, hinged wire meshes have been proposed, in which the fish can be safely picked up during grilling and turned around without difficulty. However, if it is cooked, it still needs to be separated from the wire rack instead of the grill, so that the problem is not really solved satisfactorily. The most sensible is the skewering of the fish, for which conventional rotary skewers are conceivably unsuitable. This led to the development of special fish grills, where each fish can be prepared on its own metal spit and possibly also served with this. To hold the individual skewers serve holders, for example with clamps or clamps. Since the fire or the embers of a grill spatially and temporally unfold a different heat and the fish can differ significantly in size and consistency from each other, but such, rather rigid barbecue facilities have proven in practice to be less than optimal.
On the basis of this prior art, the invention has the object to provide a grill that is also suitable for grilling the most difficult grilled food, namely for grilling fish.
Through this grill equal to several, decisive advantages. Difficult grilled food, especially fish, can be freely and optimally aligned to the flame and / or the embers. In addition, both the spatial position and the rotational position can be adjusted at any time during grilling and separately for each skewer / fish. In this case, any skewers can be used, not just those that fit the respective system. Also wooden skewers are possible. Last but not least, the grill according to the invention is technically simple in design and therefore also easy to operate and not least relatively inexpensive to produce.
The inventive grill corresponds to the characterizing features of claim 1. Further advantageous embodiments of the inventive concept are apparent from the dependent claims.

Special wood, such as olive wood, can have a positive effect on the taste of the fish grilled with it. Theoretically conceivable are also briquettes or pellets and the same. In the preferred embodiment of FIG. 1, designed as a fire bowl 3 heat source 2 in the top view is circular. Not shown is the base or support structure of the grill 1, as this is not relevant to the invention and can be arbitrarily shaped.

In the preferred embodiment, the plug 6 is made of sand 8, which is filled in a receptacle 9 in the form of an open-topped container. Sand 8 is fireproof and is relatively easy to clean from all kinds of soiling. Not least, Sand 8 creates an appealing ambience.
It would be conceivable, however, instead of sand 8 to use another bulk material, if it has enough consistency to keep the respective diagonally inserted skewer 7 safely. Not excluded is also an insert 6 made of a different material. For example, a deformable mass, such as plasticine, or a plug-in compound of a solid foam, provided they meet the specific requirements of fire resistance and static in the present case. It is crucial that the skewer 7 is inserted as desired and thus the grilled food, here a fish 10, each optimally align the heat source 2, or to the flame and / or embers.
